Back Office Passwort Lenght?!

Hi all,

I have set a 11 digit/character passwort for the shopsite 6.3 pro back
office. I have just realised by accident that I can type in 10
digits/characters and an arbitrary 11th digit and the back office will show.
Is there a maximum passwort lenght that shopsite compares ignoring the rest
of the characters? Why is there no mention of this in the back office when
setting the merchant passwort?

ShopSite uses the password mechanism on the server where it is

installed. So what ever that server requires is what ShopSite requires.
