ACH Processing through Verisign

Postby Steve Doherty » Fri Sep 12, 2003 6:49 am

We accept credit cards. This is processed through Verisign. We added the
ability to accept checks. Customer supplies checking account number and
routing number. We had to sign up separately through Verising for this
service. We had our fist customer pay by check.

My question: Is Shopsite supposed to automatically connect with Verisign to
process check information, or am I supposed to manually process checks at
Verisign? I thought it was going to happen automatically, just like credit
cards, but it did not happen. No response codes back from Verisign. I'm not
sure if I assumed incorrectly, or if there is something in Shopsite I am
supposed to configure.

Thanks,
Steve Doherty

Authorize.net's eCheck is the only automatic check processing supported

by ShopSite. For any other method you would have to handle it manually.

Is there a chance Shopsite will support Verisign checks? It would be
helpful.
