How can we tell which product images are in/not in use
so that we can trash the unused ones!

If you have telnet or ftp access to where your images are stored you could
list them via the date last accessed or modified (depending on your ftp
software and/or operating system.) There is no way to tell from within
ShopSite.

I thought the "Modified" date (when accessing the ShopSite Media folder) was
the last date that I did something to the image. I.E. The date that I
uploaded it or updated it.

Hi Larry,

You could download the products database and use the "Graphic" and "More
Information Graphic" fields to identify which images are being used for the
products.

You could do the same for the pages database to check the "Background Image" and
"Link Graphic".

As for other images you might check for any html "<img src=" in the text for:
the "Universal Header"
"Universal Footer"
"Text areas" (Text1 Text2 Text3) of your pages
"product information" and "more information text" areas of the products
Also check the
"shopping cart" and "check out" definitions

It might not be all of the images you are using but it would at least give you a
relatively large list to start with.

Hope this helps
Keith
