Jeans Template problem

I am testing the Jeans (blue/red) template in the demo store
The "View Cart" link color is nearly the same blue color as the top nav color which makes it very difficult to see
How can I change the color of the "View Cart" link to white without affecting the other links.

Are you talking about the Edgewise theme?

There are some options for changing colors in pre-built themes through your ShopSite backoffice under Preferences> Layout Settings> Central Control for Colors, Background Image and Page Width>, that you can experiment with.

There is also a help page that goes over what each of the color settings is supposed to control, http://www.shopsite.com/templates/cookbook/builtintemplates.shtml

It is the Jeans theme, one of the newest themes
Unfortunately, if I change the global link color setting it correct's the "View Cart" link issue but then it creates a new issue with the other links (white link color on white background.
