I am working with the new Edgewise template in ShopSite® 64-bit Pro 12 sp3 r4
I am currently unable to get the Footer to update/display.
I have followed the instructions on:
http://www.shopsite.com/templates/cookbook/builtintemplates-boot.html
I am able to alter the Header, but the Footer is not updating.
In the Footer: the More Info and Pages currently read:
This store is powered by ShopSite web catalog software.
Under Layout Settings the Footer is actually HTML:
<p style="opacity: 0.7; filter: opacity(70); font-size: 86%;">Powered by <a title="ShopSite Shopping Cart Software Powers This Store" href="http://www.shopsite.com/" target="_blank">ShopSite Shopping Cart Software - FOOTER TEST</a></p>
The footer currently does not display this text or HTML link.
Under More Info Page settings I have Display Header and Display Footer boxes checked.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Edgewise - Footer question
Can you give URLs to pages that are or are not working? Sounds like you have modified a template/theme and the footer is not showing. If you switch to a built-in theme/template does the footer then show?

Re: Edgewise - Footer question
Hi David,
I have not altered the template yet.
The URL is http://www.crdwebdesign.com/fw/index.html
The text shown currently in the footer is different from the text shown in the footer section of Layout Settings.
I can't seem to find where it is pulling the information from.
Thanks.

Re: Edgewise - Footer question
Looks like an issue with that and a few other themes. I'm waiting to hear from our designer to see what workaround is available.

Re: Edgewise - Footer question
You can go to that text field in ShopSite and just delete the text to remove it from the footer area. You could also change the text to a copyright notice or something like that. That text is also displayed on the email receipts if you are using text emails (HTML emails don't display that text).
Preferences > Store Text > Receipts.
Preferences > Store Text > Receipts.
