Free shipping pop up or display

Hi- we are enabling free shipping over $50 subtotal. how do we let people know this? on other sites as i shop the cart tells me: "you are $13.88 away from free shipping". how do i do this?

ShopSite does not include a built in feature for this, however, it could be done using custom JavaScript in the cart with the Shopping Cart JavaScript Variables, and custom JavaScript on the store pages using data from the mini-cart cookie. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any example code for this. You could contact a third party developer for assistance in the creation of some customer code.
