newsletter subscribe pop up?

It seems that every site i go to, big and little, that after a few seconds or after i click on something, a window pops up asking me to join a mail list and get a coupon. i have integrated my email registration onto the site, but how do i do the window?

ShopSite doesn't have a built in newsletter or email management system.
There is an option to integrate Constant Contact, through Merchandising> Constant Contact>, then Constant Contact can collect and manage your customer emails, and send out newsletters. This option would appear on the checkout pages, usually as a check box indicating whether the customer wants to sign up for email or newsletters.
Javascript can also be added to your ShopSite store to create a newsletter popup. Most of Mail Management services would provide code and instructions to insert a popup into your store.

I do have a newsletter sign up on my checkout page, but not a pop up. i will look into it. Thank you for answering.
