Jon,
We use ShopSite Manager 6.1 and also ship lots of gift boxes over the
Holidays. We got around ShopSite's limitation by turning on the
Customer Text Entry box for each product (for shipping addresses and
customer instructions) and adding lengthy instructions on the Shopping
Basket page.
One drawback is ALL linefeeds entered in the Customer Text Entry box are
stripped and ALL entered text is run together on the Checkout page and
in the downloaded order. However, the customer email and order
notification email show the text correctly formatted. (I and others in
this forum have reported this bug to ShopSite and are awaiting a fix.)
We also rearranged the shopping cart and shipping screen layouts to
better suit our needs. Within limitations, VERY careful placement of
comment tags in Headers, Footers, and Store Text fields will allow you
to suppress some of ShopSite's standard layout and substitute your own
HTML to change the look and feel of ShopSite's generated pages.
You can see what we did at
http://www.dadscookies.com/onlineorder.html.
Add a product or two to your basket then View Basket to see how we
incorporated multiple shipping addresses. Then click Checkout to see
the changes we made to the Shipping screen. It's not pretty, but it is
functional.

Hello all,
Recently switched from SoftCart to ShopSite and very satisfied (to put it
lightly)....
But, had one question I was hoping a ShopSite pro could help me with.
During our busy online season during the Holidays we ship massive amounts of
gift boxes. And a large number of customers want to ship various items to
various addresses, without having to keeping checking out and coming back
in.
Has anyone found a way to make this work with ShopSite?
Thanks!
Jon
