Products That Don't Qualify for Coupons

Is there a way to mark that a product doesn't qualify for any coupons - rather than excluding it on every individual coupon? When we add new products that can't qualify for coupons, it's very time-consuming to go back and exclude them from every coupon we have. As a matter of fact, it's impossible, because we send loyalty coupons to customers, and there's no way to go back and modify every one of those automatically generated coupons. If there isn't a solution currently, is this something that could be added? Thanks so much for your help!

I would also like to have this added. It's a shame this was requested so long ago and still not implemented. Seems pretty basic to me.
