Beginning with ShopSite v6, ShopSite Pro users can specify a Search
Destination for each product. The default is whatever ShopSite-generated
pages the product may appear on, but in the case of OrderAnywhere sites,
you can choose to specify a URL for the search results to point to.

Wow, So what you are saying is that I can generate a custom page and call it
say... searchresults.html and upload it into my order anywhere directory
and the search results will display on that page?
sounds good!
I presume I put links on that page to take them back to the rest of my site.
How do I get the initial search box integrated with my order anywhere site?
thanks for the prompt response:)

No, I am not saying that the search results can actually display on your
html page. I am saying that the search results will display on
ShopSite's productsearch.cgi search results screen, but each product in
the search results can have a link back to whatever html page you want
(via that product's Search Destination setting).
In order to get the code for the search field, you will need to create a
ShopSite page in the Pages area, and make sure the 'Product Search
Field' and 'Index' checkboxes are both checked, Save the page, Publish,
then go look at the HTML source for the page and copy the entire search
field FORM into the HTML of your own pages.
You will need to leave this one ShopSite page with the prior-mentioned
checkboxes checked in ShopSite (do not delete it). In order for the
products to be indexed for search during the Publish, ShopSite requires
that there be at least one ShopSite page with these settings, even if
you are not using that page in your store.
