Have 4.3 - better associate tracking and discounts/coupons?

I'm the webmaster for an online shop using Shopsite SC 4.3 Pro.

The online shop is very successful. I am using Order Anwhere links with
my own page designs.

We are losing major associates because they do not trust the Associate
reports we give them. They want more information about tracked shoppers.
We obviously can't allow Associates into the back office, so how can I
beef up the Associates feature? Is there a third-party solution?

Also, my client would like to be able to offer discounts to regular
shoppers. This might come in the form of a password log-in system, or
redeemable 'coupons'.

Can anyone suggest anything to help with these pressing problems?
