No Price Shown a Product has Sub products

We recently switched to a Shopsite Responsive theme and now when products are shown both on the category page and on the more information page, the product price isn't shown. Only the subproducts and their prices. Is there an easy fix for this problem? Additionally the product can't be added to the cart because it can't be selected; only subproducts can be selected.

Assign the product as a subproduct to itself.
