insecure connection

I get the following message when I attempt to link back to my website (Positive SSL Secure Website) from my e-commerce shopping cart (shopsite High Security). Both sides of the link are https:\\.

The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to send this information?

My website (collinsengineering.com) and the shopsite e-commerce package seem to work fine in IE11 & Edge. But not in the Firefox browser. Could it be that cookies are handled differently among the browsers?

Or perhaps my anti-virus, McAfee Total Protection, is interfering? (Already tried an uninstall.)

Your ShopSite cart page is not actually an SSL page. It is set up currently to not use https:// in the URL. Only the checkout is set to be secure. Your catalog page has the form action set to https;://, which will cause this security warning to appear.

Two options:

1. Change the action call on your catalog pages to not be secure to the cart.

-or-

2. If your hosting provider allows you to change the URL settings in the ShopSite config (since you use a shared set up), you can set your cart insecure URL to actually be a secure URL.
