To override the 'x-ing' out of the CC number see this solution:
http://support.shopsite.com/kbase/view_ ... onID=S5476The Authorize.Net issue you mention was probably addressed by this patch:
http://support.shopsite.com/kbase/view_ ... onID=S5477Regarding multiple e-mails, if you are using the same (shopper) e-mail
address as your merchant one when you test then you will get the shopper
and
merchant e-mail from ShopSite and the same from Authroize.Net. You can
turn
off the Authorize.Net e-mail notifications so that the shopper does not
get
confused with two e-mails.

I agree Norman--I asked for an explanation from my Shopsite Partner
reseller
Host-no answer yet. I have used Shopsite Manager for over 2 years--and
this
6.3 is causing me a lot of problems. First, I was not able to "Bill
Orders"
from Shopsite-had to go into Authnet to capture--a fix was implemented
but
was told by Shopsite I "Cannot change my authnet password until THEY
speak
to the engineers. That is surely not security minded. Also, on test
orders
I
get 4 receipts--2 from my Shopsite order 2 from my Authnet--Thirdly, am
seeing of declines in my unsettled transactions--AVS not available try
again----and when I test orders more than frequent "enter valid credit
card
number".

We upgraded to Pro 6.3 last month and suddenly the complete CC# not
longer
was on the order. We do use a realtime gateway. As a result of
frantic
emails and the features list, I came to the understanding that this is
a
security feature of 6.3. It would certainly be good if someone in the
know
from ShopSite would join this discussion to explain what is going on.

Are you saying that 6.3 is not supposed to show the credit card
number
in
the Back Office Orders /View Orders section?
Our experience is that MOST of the time, 6.3 shows the CC numbers.
Occasionally the CC # is NOT shown and the CVV is seven digits long
with
the
first four being the last four of the CC.

If you look at the new features of 6.3, not showing a credit card
number
is
supposely a new security feature. ShopSite is a fine product but
I
am
irritated by this feature. I think that removing critical info
from
the
order should be an optional thing that we decide if we want and
not
just
something thrown into the software by the software developer. In
my
opinion
this having to either purchase expensive software to easily get
the
number
or else manually download a file and have to copy numbers by hand
is
just
ridiculous.

We've had a few instances where we thought ShopSite SC Pro 6.3
was
allowing
an order to be finalized without a credit card number. The
method
of
payment
(VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover) and a funny looking CVV (9710 877)
would
show
in
the Back Office Orders section, however no credit card number.
We
would
followup with the customer and get their CC number. The 9710 in
the
funny
looking CVV was actually the last four digits of the customer's
CC#.
One of these customers called and gave us his CC #. He was quite
sure
he
had
entered it in the online order. What I discovered when I went to
enter
the
CC# into Order Manager was that the CC # was already in Order
Manager.
I
checked another order (customer who hadn't called yet with his
CC#)
and
his
CC# was already in OM. For some reason ShopSite wasn't revealing
the
CC#,
but it was being imported into OM.
Anyone else have this situation?
