Disabled Product field in database export

Postby DiveGearExpress » Mon Feb 02, 2015 2:38 pm

In ShopSite 11 sp2 the “Disabled Product” feature was added. This is option is available on a product’s Edit Product Info screen:
We want to clean out some old products and want to create a list of just the products marked as Disabled Products... and so we exported the product database to excel...
My question is... WHAT table is indicated what products are currently marked on the website as Disabled Products?

Thanks,
Emily

I'm not sure what you mean by "WHAT Table". Are you asking for a column of the download file or the internal database table?
In the download file the column header for the disabled products is "Disable Product" and will have a value of "checked" if the product is marked as disabled. A product which is not disabled will have "uncheck" Here is a download of just the product name and Disable Product fields for two product, the first is disabled the second is still active.
Code: Select all
#Name   Disable Product
African Blackwood   checked   ##
Apple   uncheck   ##

Hi Jim, Thank you for responding back... I have looked all through the export of "All Fields" we get and on the list of Select Product Fields to Download... "Disable Product" is NOT there... we have upgraded our version of ShopSite a few times.

Figured it out !!!
To help out anyone else... If you are not seeing the "Disabled Product" field in the list, then you may not have the correct download version set in the 'Download Format' drop-down. Be sure to select version 11.2 or higher! Mine was defaulting to Version 11 so I wasn't seeing it.
