Hi Mark,
the shop sends you an email with the email address of the shopper in the
from field for each order. We have our mail-server set-up so that each order
mail is copied in a shared IMAP folder.
Once the order is paked and shipped, we simply use ms outlook to reply to
the order mail with a blank mail. We fill the email subject and text body
with a standard reply text using a small programm called ghostwriter. All
that needs to be done to complete the shipping notification is to scan the
tracking number bar code label into the mail and hit the "send" button.
Best regards,
Niko

I recently started using ShopSite 6.1 Pro. I don't see anything that
allows
me to easily send a message to notify the customer that his/her order has
been shipped. It looks like I'll have to create my own form or send
messages manually.
I'm planning to buy a license for 6.3 Pro in the near future, so maybe
it's
included in that version. Still, I can't believe that this would not be
included - even in earlier versions. Am I missing it somewhere?
Thanks,
Mark
