Remove background on pictures of products

Hello,

Well, this may seem a silly question, but I have no clue on how to solve it. When I upload a picture of a product, on a jpg format, I have no way to remove the white background around the product, and it looks bad. Can someone help about this?

You need to upload images that have a "transparent" background. Jpg image don't support transparency so you will not get them to work unless you set the background color of the image to the same background color as what your page has.

Try using png format which has good transparency support. Gif is another format that supports tranparency but png does a better job.

Note that if you are having ShopSite create resized images the transparency may be lost when the resized images are created.
