Update v11 to v12 via Mojo Marketplace

I currently have ShopSite Pro 11 sp2 r3, which i need to update due to the USPS API issue. I contacted my provider (hostmonster) and was told that i need to contact Shopsite! Previously, any updates/releases was done via simple scripts via the hostmonster's control panel. Currently simple scripts is now Mojo Marketplace and there was no updates available for v11.

I contacted Shopsite and was told i could simply update to v12, not pay for the update and i would have the new coding (which would allow the new API to work) but my feature set would be based on the last "Paid" version. I was also directed to use Mojo to update. I then contacted hostmonster and was told i cannot update, only install a new version, then basically have to rebuild/import my data into the new version! I was also told by hostmonster that any updates/releases would be treated the same way!

please advise.

Explain your situation and what you have tried to do.

I am not familiar with the way various host sell ShopSite and the support that they offer but the sales staff that gets the form information is familiar and they will be able to suggest options.
