Remove Store URL from receipt

We use our site as an internal only but are processing a callin customer's information for them. We will fill out their information and they will be emailed a receipt. We don't want them to have a link to the store so need to remove the site url from the receipt. Can I edit a file to remove the footer etc...? I am comfortable doing this if I know where the receipt file is and what it's called.

The receipt file (if emails are html) is included in the shopping cart template. You can find out what template is used for the shopping cart by going to Commerce Setup > Order System > Layout Info . The template is listed about the middle of the page.

Once you know the template you can go to Merchandising > Custom Templates > Shopping cart and use the Copy ShopSite template button to make a copy of that template for editing. When editing the template go to the [-- DEFINE ThankYou_Email --] section. The url will probably be an ahref to [-- STORE.CompanyURL --] so just remove the code itself or edit to suit your needs.

Once the editing is complete Copy the template you just edited and give it the same name as the original template so ShopSite will use that template instead of the ShopSite provided version. (You could also leave it named something different and then go to Commerce Setup > Order System > Layout Info and select that template as the one to use.

I followed this but still have the url. Could this be in the receipt footer and if so where is it located for a custom template that I created from instructions above.

You could look at
Commerce Setup > Order System > Thank You
Commerce Setup > Order System > E-mail

and see if it is in any field on those screens.

It would be helpful to see the actual email so we can try and determine where it is coming from. If you could email one to me or copy and past it into a PM to me I'll look and see if I can determine where it is coming from.

The email has the Thank you for your order wording but the URL link shows right below that and that's what I need to eliminate.
