More Info Pages using OrderAnywhere?

I am new to this. Setting up products using OrderAnywhere and have been pasting the html into my existing site. Seems to work fine. However, I decided I wanted to try using the More Info pages as well and cannot seem to get it to work. I set the defaults for the more info pages, and when creating a product I check the box to create a more info page. I don't name it. Then when I copy and paste either the html or the use the embed code I do not get a link to the more info page. (embed also seems to take away the view cart button). Am I doing something wrong, or is there no way to get the more info page to link from the embedded code when put into a WordPress created site?

Products must be assigned to a ShopSite generated page in order for moreinfo pages to be generated. You could try creating a page in ShopSite and then assign your products to it and publish and the moreinfo pages should be generated.

Thanks, but that does not work either. The link to the more info page is generated in the shopsite pages but does not generate for embedding on my site. Is there a way to get the direct link to the more info pages for the products so that I can link to them directly from the products in the WordPress site?

Try adding this code to the template you are using for the embedded template.
<a href="[-- PRODUCT.MoreInfoURL --]" class="pr_img">[-- PRODUCT.Graphic --]</a>

Which should make the product image a link to the moreinfo page. I'm not sure if that will work on the embedded template but that is the way it is done on ShopSite generated pages.

Thanks. I am probably not putting it in the right place, but I tried a couple different ways and it does not work. Any other suggestions?

I have found a simple way to link to the more info pages from the WordPress generated pages. However, now the problem I have is that the more info pages are displaying breadcrumbs which of course lead to the wrong pages (shopsite pages rather than the website category pages. I have added a menu on the left of the more info pages, but I want to get rid of the breadcrumbs. Anyway to do it? There are no breadcrumbs in the cart, which is the way I want it to be. Thanks.

You could either change the template for the products (and possibly the page template) to one that doesn't display the breadcrumb or edit the template so that the breadcrumb doesn't display. What template is selected for the page you assigned the products to in ShopSite? What template is assigned to the products themselves in ShopSite? Depending on the page template it may force all the products to use a specific product template instead of the one assigned to the product. The older themes didn't use bread crumbs so changing the ShopSite theme to an older one and publishing could remove the breadcrumbs but that would also alter the look of the moreinfo page.

I've tried a few including "standard" and "business casual" but they have bread crumbs. Are there any older ones you know that do not have the breadcrumbs?

Try some of the themes in the Legacy Themes section, Clean, Leaf, Matte etc.

If you go to http://www.shopsite.com/templates/cookbook/builtintemplates.shtml you can see a list of all the templates and the version of ShopSite they were introduced in. I think any that were introduced in 10sp1 or earlier would not have the breadcrumb. If you click on one of the theme images it takes you to a page that lists features of that theme and what files are used. If "bread crumbs" appears on the page as a feature it will probably display breadcrumbs.
