Shopsite v12 r1 - can't add menu rows to a product

Postby dlundell » Wed Feb 05, 2014 11:38 am

Hi,

We just upgraded to v12 r1.

If we try to to either of the following in Firefox (running the latest version 27):

1. add a row (Advanced Options 'Add Rows' button) to a product that already has rows
2. click Advance Options to generate rows, after filling in menu options in Pull-down Menus

the page pauses for a couple seconds, then refreshes to the main Product search page, instead
of adding the rows and staying on the product page being edited.

It works properly, as it always has, on: Opera, Chrome, and IE.

Known bug?

Thanks,

Don

PS. Our Shopsite is on FreeBSD.

I am not able to reproduce the issue you are describing. I use FireFox most the time (the current version 27), and I am able to use, update, add to, etc, the Advanced Ordering Options.

I would suggest checking many of your browser settings to make sure you aren't blocking things like JavaScript, popups/alerts, JQuery, etc.

I just tried it in a version 12 Freebsd store and it works for me. (Firefox 26). There were lots of changes to the javascript and css between 11 and 12 so your browser might have some old javascript cached. Try clearing the browser cache and see if it works after that.
