Require 3 digit CC code in 6?

Does the latest version allow an option to REQUIRE the 3 digit code on
the back of the credit card? I have a customer saying that their
processor requires this for liability against fraud, and they've already
eaten $1500 over it. They're at 4.1 and I've been unable to upgrade
them to any later version with the upgrade "out of box".

v6.0 and newer allow the merchant to collect and/or require the CVV2 code,
which is called several different things depending on who you are talking
to, and which can be 3 or 4 digits, depending on the card type.
