bill address not pre populating with registered customers

I have uploaded over 200 customers to one of my shopsite 10 pro websites, and assigned them to groups etc. - everything working great.

When they sign in the first time and checkout, the ship to info populates automatically, but the bill address that was uploaded properly doesn't auto populate (bill name does show up).

Can the bill address be set to show up with the first order? I know it will be there after the first order, but my customer doesn't want their users entering the wrong bill address. Anything I'm missing?

Billing addresses are tied to payment methods so unless there is a payment method (CC number, expiration etc) associated with the billing address it will not display in the biliing address fields the first time the shopper logs in to the shopping cart.

I have added an enhancement request to have this looked at for a future version of ShopSite. I also requested the ability to upload multiple addresses per email address.

Currently only the ship to address in an upload will be used for a registered shopper.

Hi, sorry to resurrect a 3 year old topic, but I am assuming this `enhancement request` has not yet been implemented.

I am having the same issue for almost the same reason.

Is there a workaround?

No change has been made to this functionality. The Billing address is tied to a payment method and payment method info can not be uploaded to the registration info.
