This generally has to do with incorrect secure url settings on the Preferences > Hosting services screen. See this kbase article for possible fixes.

I did go to that KB and secure URL settings are fine. Any other suggestions. It properly calls html editor files https://www----mydomainnamehere--.com/shopsite/shopsite-images/en-US/javascript/html_editor/html_editor_script.js here the error occurs.

What is the exact version of ShopSite 10 is your store running? You can find out by going to the main backoffice screen, click the ShopSite in the navbar at the top of the screen and then look in the footer of the page. It will look something like ShopSite® Pro 11 sp2 r5.3, StoreID: ...

Did it ever work and just now stopped working?

Put the url that it is trying to get to into the browser url box and try to load that page. Do you still get the error?

Where is your store hosted? Have you checked with their support staff to make sure that the webserver user has read, write and execute permission to the directory when you are using a secure url?

Try unchecking the box "Use SSL security in ShopSite (Merchant Interface)" on the Preferences > Hosting Services screen. Does it work then?
