UK Pound £ symbol does not appear in the CheckOut page.

I have set Currency to UK Pound in Shopsite at ShopSite > Preferences > Locale . the symbol for Pound £ symbol doesnt show properly in ShopSite pages and back office( shows like �). Is there any Fix for it?

Make sure that your browser is configured to use the ISO-8859-15 character encodiing. If you use UTF-8 or some other encoding the characters may not display properly.
