terms and conditions

Postby rdlutz » Wed May 22, 2013 11:42 am

I have 4 different products - is there a way that I can only request terms and conditions on one of the products and require the customer to click on a check box? On the other 3 products I do not want to show any terms and conditions.

Thanks for the help

You could use the order option feature to add the Terms and Conditions as the Order Options Description:. Then create the order options something like this

Accept Terms;n
Yes
No;n

When the product is added to the cart there will be a pulldown titled Accept Terms. There will be the two options Yes and No in the pulldown. The ;n on the No indicates that that is not a valid choice so they won't be able to checkout until they select the Yes option.

Thanks - is there a way that I can also have a message and point to a link with the terms and conditions?

Just include the link in the text
Click here to see Terms and Conditions as the Order Options Description:
