Can't complete PayPal transaction

Postby elbekay » Wed Mar 20, 2013 6:46 pm

I'm using SS through an iFrames on an established web site. When I try to make a purchase using Paypal I get as far as clicking 'Submit Order' then the screen goes blank. When I view the product page directly after publishing (without using the original web site) I can complete the process. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Thanks

PayPal does not allow their Express interface to load in an iframe / frame. You will likely need to load the cart outside of a frame, or use PayPal Standard as your payment option.

Thanks Rob, but I am using PayPal Standard. It's baffling. When I try to checkout using just the ShopSite pages--no problem. I do think the iFrame is the problem but don't have a clue how to fix it.

An iframe is basically a separate html page within a page. Is it possible that the PayPal page is opening in another browser or tab that is hidden behind an open one?

Seems PayPal has issues with iframes in general:
