Canadian Shipment

When a customer selects Canada from the drop down on the shopping cart and enters thier zip code,
and error messages appears :

UPS Message: The XML document is not well formed (Error code: 10001)

No freight cost is calculated or supplied.

Using ShopSite Pro version 11 on Netfirms site.

Any clues?

What specific version of ShopSite 11 is the store running? Go to the main backoffice screen and click on the ShopSite logo at the top of the screen. Then in the footer of the screen will be something like "ShopSite® Pro 11 sp2 r5, StoreID: jimsp2" If it does not say 11sp2 r4 or 11sp2 r5 you should upgrade to the latest version and see if the problem still happens.

Another thing to check is if they are using the a space between the first 3 characters and last 3. I think UPS likes it all as one with no space.

Thank you for the quick response.

It was version SP2 R4

I tried removing the spaces in the Canadian zip code and it seems to work.

There are two spaces in the Canadian zip code. I had to remove both.

I will have to put a note in the shopping cart to tell the customers to remove
all spaces, since there is nothing by default that tells them this.
