When I upgraded from ShopSite Pro v10 Sp2 to ShopSite® Pro 11 sp2 a strange thing happened on the "More Info" pages.
At the top of those pages, every one of them, right under the "Product Name" line is an extra character. A

Anyone else see this? I looked through all the "More Info Text" and of course this character is not there.
This character did not exist when I was using Pro v10, and since it showed up immediately with no other changes, when I went to Pro 11, I'm perplexed.
I did a view page source and it appears to come from:
<span class="reviews-brief"> | </span><br>
I assume this is part of http://www.shopsite.com/help/11.2/en-US/sc/pro/index.htm?page=/help/11.2/en-US/sc/pro/reviews.html but I have not yet gone through the Reviews Configuration so I'm curious why this character is there by default.
NOW I just enabled Reviews, and it confirms for me that this character is part of the reviews. HOWEVER it now looks like:
| No reviews for this product.
So the character is still there????
PLUS now at the bottom of the "More Info Page" I see the text:
Reviews
| No reviews for this product.
Why is this text at the top under the product name when it appears at the bottom as well?
Thanks.

Re: <span class="reviews-brief"> | </span><br>
It is a bug in some themes with regards to the Review feature in v11. If you do not have Reviews enabled, the "|" character still gets inserted.
The fix is to either enable reviews, or, you would need to copy the stock template to a custom one, and change:
to:

This is how your template works. It puts the reviews at the top and bottom of the moreinfo page.gourmetdelights wrote:PLUS now at the bottom of the "More Info Page" I see the text:

Re: <span class="reviews-brief"> | </span><br>
Rob, thank you!!
So I have my first review already.
My first review is for O Honey Apple Cider Vinegar. If you look at this page where I have several products:
http://gourmet-delights.com/store/usa.html
you can see that I have the name of the product in black type as a hyperlink to the "More Info Page". Exactly what I want.
HOWEVER, what I see with the O Honey Apple Cider Vinegar now that it has a review is that the name O Honey Apple Cider Vinegar is repeated a 2nd time. That is not only unnecessary, but also looks terrible. Terrible.
It does this on the main page linked above usa.html and also does it on the More Info page http://gourmet-delights.com/store/honey_apple_cider_vinegar.html where it is a bit more elegantly laid out but still unnecessary.
Anyone have any thoughts on how to keep the star rating but not repeat the Name of the Product?
Thanks.
