How can I enter a promotion/ discount code that customers can use to receive a discount @ Check out?

ShopSite Pro level stores have the Coupon feature for giving such discounts. It can be found under Merchandising > Coupons. The coupon feature is not available in Manager or Starter level stores.

I don;t have a coupon option in Merchandising... Not sure which level store we have? How do I check?

Click on the ShopSite in the upper left corner of the navbar at the top of the page. Then in the footer it should have something like " ShopSite® Pro 11 sp2 r4.3, StoreID: jimsp2 " The product level is listed right after the ShopSite® .

It says Manager.. So why can't I get the coupon?

Only the ShopSite Pro (which is the level above the manager) has the Coupon feature. You would need to upgrade to get Coupons.
