Accessing Order API using a demo license

I am working on some enhancements for a client and recently setup a test server and got a demo license for it. I got the shopping cart and store to work and I am able to place dummy orders through using a manual processor in the 'Payment Setup' screen. However, the custom_dump.pl specified in the Order API is not getting processed and I only get the final receipt for my orders.

Does a demo license allow for such a thing? I would hate to have to run these tests in the live system. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Order API works fine in my demo store. There are two included demo Order API files you can try custumdump.cgi and custom-dump.pl
I notice that you said "custom_dump.pl" so if that is what you were using switch the _ to a - and try it again. If the file doesn't exist you should get an error when you try to save the config screen.

Ha! Good catch Jim. I had _ instead of -. However, when I saved the config screen it did not give me an error message when saving the value. Using v10sp2r2.

The check for the file name may have been added in ShopSite 11.
