The "add to cart" button

Postby evalid » Fri Dec 21, 2012 5:22 pm

Hello,

Now our product pages have each "add to cart" button setting below the "QTY" box. So how to edit the page to move the "add to cart" button next to the "QTY" box on the right side?

Want to change from

*************************
QTY(box)
"add to cart" button
*************************
to

***********************************
QTY(box) "add to cart " button
************************************

Thanks.

What page and product template are you using?
The placement of the quantity box and the add to cart button is determined by the template that is being used. So you would need to modify the product template that is being used. Note that the page template can override the assigned product template, so you need to know if that is happening and if so then make the modification to the template that is actually being use, which may not be the one that is assigned to the product itself.

You can check what templates is being used on the page by going to Pages > Edit Page Layout and looking in the Template field. (It is also listed in the source of the html page near the top. Your pages has <meta name="generator" content="ShopSite Manager 11 sp2 r4.3 (sc - BasicPage.sst)"> so it is using the BasicPage.sst template.
The product template could be set by the page template where the product is being displayed. It may also be set under Products > Edit Product Layout in the Template field.

You can edit templates under Merchandising > Custom Templates. There you can create your own template or copy ShopSite provided templates and modify them.
