Mobile formatting and Search

Postby VinceS » Wed Nov 28, 2012 7:57 am

I'm just starting to test the mobile aspects of SS. Before I go down the road of customizing the mobile templates I want to be sure I haven't missed something.

I want to have the Search text box and button above the menu. So I copied the search form code into the Mobile Page Header section. OK that worked fine except when I do a search and the Search Results page displays, a second Search form appears under the menu. you can see what I'm talking about here http://www.ahoydemo.ahoycaptain.com then type Antal into the search from the Home page. Yes I know the Home page is ugly. I'm working on it.

Is there a way to get the Search text box and button to appear where I want it?

Thanks for the help.

There isn't a simple checkbox to move the search form. You will need to modify the mobile search template to place the search form where you want it and remove it from where you don't.
