UPS GROUND & STANDARD

I have shopsite manager through my hosting company, I have attempted many times to have them correct a problem and they are telling me an answer that I don't think is correct. I have selected to have the shipping automatically calculated for my shipping carriers. All of them seem to be working with the exception of UPS. I have selected 5 UPS Shipping methods, but only two of the 5 show up in my cart. I keep being told I have to set up Flat Rate Shipping for this?? I don't understand why I would have to set up Flat Rate Shipping for UPS Standard and Ground to show up when 2nd day and 3 day UPS show up without Flat Rate Configured? Can you explain this Please. I want live shipping rate not flat rates?

You do not have to have Flat Rate Shipping setup to use the UPS shipping options., However, only the valid UPS shipping options for the destination will display in the shopping cart.
What do you have configured for UPS Delivery Type, Select Residential or Commercial That will affect which shipping options display since some methods are commercial and others are available for home delivery.
What version of ShopSite you are using will also affect the methods available since UPS makes changes over time and only the latest version of ShopSite will have the most recent changes. The current version of ShopSite is 11 sp2 r4.

I think it's version 11.2 or something like that. I hope I found the problem on my own. UPS said my account was not active, not sure why it allowed 2nd and 3 day shipping to populate and not the others if it were not active. It will take a day to get it active again and then I will see if that does the trick.

My problem is not fixed?? I still can't see UPS Standard, Groud, or 3 day select in my cart. What should I do. I have Residential selected. Also, I have letter center for the pick up. I had not idea what to put there is that correct if I want to take it UPS myself and drop it off?
