Interland shared hosting server (and my web site) has been down for 16
HOURS.

Anybody recommend a new hosting company?? (I use ShopSite Manager 6.1)

Any opinions as to acceptable downtime?? My opinion is 0 downtime; (16
Hours is "totally" unacceptable!!)

Give the ShopSite sales staff a call (number should be on the contact page
of the www.shopsite.com website), I'm sure they would be happy to discuss

www.lexiconn.com has been our host for 3-4 years. I can't recall having any
downtime, plus they fully support ShopSite SC Pro.

I highly recommend them.

We use Verio and have not had 1 minute of downtime in the last 6 months

I've been hosting multiple domains at Hostglobe (neospire)

I've had virtual and dedicated. 24 hour support, quick trouble ticket
turnaround; I've NEVER been on hold for more than 2 minutes when calling
tech support. Once, a tech even helped me troubleshoot some ASP. They've
also setup new domians for me within five minutes of my request.

I have had 10 minutes of total downtime over the past 4 years (they
notified me in advance and it was while they were changing IP blocks).

They are not the cheapest, but they are WELL worth it.
