product link to external site

Is there any way to have a product link to an external site? When the product displays and when one clicks the more info link, can it link to another site instead of the more info page? Sounds weird, but my customer has a few perishable items that a distributor of theirs, has an online store and will process the order from their own online store and drop ship.

If the other store is also a ShopSite store then you could use an OrderAnywhere link from that store to direct the shopper to their site to make the purchase. If they set you up an Associate the order would be recorded in their store as coming from your store and they could give you a referral fee for sending the shopper to their site.

It is not shop site. So am I unable to have the link to to an external site instead of the more info page?

You can add a link to the external site in your products description. There is no way in ShopSite to automatically generated such a link since ShopSite doesn't know anything about the other site.
