Generation freezing

Hello,
When I attempt to publish my site, the generation progress bar seems to freeze at about 50%. Does anyone know why this might be?

Also, when I attempt to upload a page data file, the upload sometimes freezes and I have to attempt it multiple times.

Any thoughts?

This can happen if the file you are trying to upload is large or if the server is experiencing a high volume of traffic. One thing you can try with the your page database upload is to check the box to defer linking until a subsequent upload. Another option is to upload the file in sections.
