Removing Username and Password for db_xml.cgi

I'm trying to use the XML download, but the software I'm using does not allow for username and password protection.

Is there a way to remove the login for just the db_xml.cgi and not the rest of the back office.

I'm currently using Version 10.7

No, it is a security feature and there is no way to remove it.
You can download the information from the backoffice in XML format so perhaps you could download it that way and then just point your software to the downloaded file instead having it retrieve the file from the web interface.
