back-office (orders) error message: Destination Zip Code

When I go to my back office orders tab (something I do often), I get the following error:

Warning, there is a shipping problem in the shopping cart!
Time: Thu Jun 14 13:12:17 2012
USPS Message: Error Information: The Destination ZIP Code you have entered is invalid.

It doesn't seem like a main order page error message.

For what it's worth, we upgraded last week from v11 SP1 to SP2.

Any ideas?

This is part of the new Alerts system added in ShopSite 11sp2. Alerts will be either sent to the merchant by email, displayed on the Orders screen or on the Dashboard when you go to start.cgi. (for a list of other new 11sp2 features go to http://shopsite.com/help/11.2/en-US/new-features.html )

In this case it looks like the shopper entered an invalid zipcode so USPS rates were not able to be calculated. You might get more details on whether the order was finally completed on the Dashboard -- Merchant Alerts section. I think the Dashboard module is enabled by default but if it isn't visible you can turn it on under Utilites > Backoffice UI near the bottom of the Dashboard section.
