Anchor Tags

Can one use anchor tags to assist in navigation? We are using ShopSite 4.

Hi Adam,

I am using ShopSite 4.2 on one site and ShopSite 4.3 on another.

I use an anchor tag at the top of each page on one site like this
<a name="top"></a>
I place it as the first line in the "page header" section so that each and
every page has the ability to have a back to top link on it.

Also, if your version is the "PRO" version, it's search engine uses "page
name & product anchor tags".
The tag is not based on the SKU or NAME of the product but it's record number
in the database.
For example, the 2293rd item to be entered into the database on one of my
sites is a "24 Kt. Gold Rose".
The anchor tag for that item is
<a name="2293"></a>
The link to it is
http://www.specialmart.com/store/Flower ... .html#2293
