Discount schedule - product exceptions

We currently sell at wholesale and retail. In order to sell on the same website to both wholesale and retail customers, I would like to price everything at retail and offer a discount schedule based on the dollar total of the order.

Certain items that we sell are available at retail, but not at wholesale, because they are items we do not manufacture ourselves. Is it possible to have a discount schedule but to exclude certain items from being discounted?

No, there isn't a discount schedule that would do that, it is simply based on the total value of the sale.

If you require registration you could have coupons assigned to certain groups which would automatically be applied when they signin. You could exclude the products you don't want discounted from the coupon so the "discount" wouldn't apply to those.
