Facebook Share not working

I'm using ShopSite Pro 11 r1. When I go to the Social section in Merchandising, and activate the Facebook Share button there is no change to my store. The button is not there. Anyone have similar experience?

Facebook made changes to their interface around Oct 1. Fixes for facebook to deal with their changes have been added to ShopSite 11 sp1 which was released yesterday for the Linux platform and will be release in the next couple of weeks for FreeBSD, Solaris and Windows platforms. If you are on Linux I suggest you upgrade to the 11sp1 release.

I believe we're on FreeBSD, so we'll have to wait. Will there be an announcement when that is made available?

Wow, it's been 9 months since I posted this question. I immediately subscribed to the tech bulletin. I received a confirming email right away. And that was the last email I ever received from the tech bulletin. Any secret to that?

There have been two product releases (11sp1 and 11sp2) in the last 9 months, last October and this month. I believe those are the only Tech bulletins that have been sent out. The announcements have also been posted to the ShopSite Announcements forum at the top of the forum.

I have received a couple of tech bulletins at my shopsite.com email address in that period of time. However, I though I had also signed up with another email account just as a check to make sure they went outside the company. Looking through my private emails I have read here at work I don't see any to other addresses though. They might have come at home and been popped off the server so I wouldn't get them at work. So I'll check at home tonight and see if I did get any there.

Because of your report and since I don't have any from my non-shopsite.com addresses, I sent an email to the server admin asking him to check into it. We had a major server move a couple of months ago and maybe something got messed up in the transfer.
