Shipping Question

I have a client who uses ShopSite. The sell food products. Some of the items have to ship frozen while others aren't frozen. If a customer places an order for two items, with one of them being frozen, they have to be shipped in two different boxes. We are using the ShopSite UPS and USPS shipping calcuations. Is there any trick for the shipping modules to charge shipping an extra box (package) when a frozen item is ordered?

Add an extra handling charge for the frozen product. Products > Edit Product Info > Extra Handling Charge: . Make sure that you enable the Extra Handling charge feature on Commerce Setup > Order System > Shipping > Handling Charges
