Hi,
I use the Suffix field on the Shipping Address field for something else that is required for some of my shipments to get to where they need to be. I get the information in my order screen, but customers don't get this info on their receipts. I've had multiple customer calls just to ensure this information is passing through to me.
Is there any way to make sure the suffix is included on the customer email along with their name?

Re: Getting Suffix included on Email Receipt
I tried placing orders in a test store (ShopSite 11sp1r2) and both the text receipt and the html receipt contained all the name information I entered on the billing screen. Note that the name fields are not used independently on most ShopSite provided templates they are placed using a single template tag. If you created your own template or modified one to use the Suffix differently you might need to make changes to your template to get it displayed.
So you need to make sure the customer enters it on the billing screen by making it required. Commerce Setup > Order System > Checkout check the required box by the field in both the Billing address and Shipping Address fields.

Will it only show if it is a required field?
Right now, we have that field set-up to be a place for our customers to put in booking numbers/room numbers because it makes sense at that part of the flow of the billing address. Not everyone, however, will have a booking number or room number to fill in. Any thoughts?

I placed a test order in my store with the suffix field displayed but not required. So long as the field was filled in, it appeared in the email receipt.
