Toolbar set doesn't exist

Postby doug_kremer » Wed Dec 28, 2011 12:49 pm

I have created a new toolbar for the HTML editor, however when I try to select the editor when updating a product the message "Toolbar set "-" doesn't exist. I can only use the BASIC toolbar.

Where is your website hosted? Also, if possible, what package (Starter, Manager, or Pro) and version (9, 10, etc) is it?

I am having the same problem. I am using Hostgator, manager, ver 11 sp1 r2. I am also having a problem associating an image with a product as the images will not display on any of my pages. I only see text on the page when it is published. I have used the demo version before I bought the software and I had no problems with either one while using the demo so I am confused about why I had no problems with the demo but I can't get the back office to work in the same way. What is the difference? And yes I am a newbie to shopsite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to contact shopsite. Thanks in advance Ted

At this point, I would say that it sounds like it is an incorrect secure URL setting for the shopsite-images that is causing this. If that is the case, then you will want to make sure that the ShopSite Images secure URL is correct for the SSL Certificate you are using. That field is under Preferences > Hosting Service > SSL Security Settings. If changing/or disabling your SSL Security Settings does not fix your issue, then the issue might be on the server itself. If that is the case, you will want to contact Your Host and have them take a look at your ShopSite files.

Ted,

If you are unable to see images, the issue can be one of a couple of things:

1) if you are looking at a secure page but cannot see your ShopSite images, the ShopSite Images secure URL is probably not set up properly.
2) if the images uploaded do not have a proper media extension (such as .gif or .jpg).
3) if the permissions for your media directory are not set to allow you to make changes to that directory.

Hopefully that gives you a place to start.

Contacted my webhost - one of the shopsite secure paths was incorrect.
Problem Fixed.

Thanks!
