Add me to your Email List

Hi,

I have ShopSite Pro v10 and on the Checkout screen, there is an option for an Add me to Your Email List. I see in later versions of ShopSite that it can now integrate with Constant Contact. Is there anyway to do something similar with this version of ShopSite?

Otherwise, I'm not sure what happens to my customers' email addresses when they do check the "Add me to your email list" box.

You would need the newer versions of ShopSite that include the Constant Contact integration to have the process automated.

In older versions (and newer if Constant Contact is not configured) the actual text that you have configured for the "Add me to your email list" checkbox will appear on the Order screen and in the orders download if the shopper checked the box. So if you see the text "Add me to your email list" on an order that means they checked the box and you should manually add them to your email list. If you don't see the text then they did not check the box so you don't have their permission to put them on your email list.
