User Accounts

Hello Everyone,
Let me preface this by saying I am completely new to ShopSite and working through my first storefront.
The store in question can be found at: http://brotherscountrysupply.com/store/

I am having a hard time finding specifics in the forum, so I hope it's ok that I'm posting new topics.
I have ShopSite Pro and a LAMP stack for this store:

I was under the impression that the Pro version allowed for user accounts - is this true?
If so, can someone please direct me to where I need to go to enable / set that up?
Any tips or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

The ShopSite 'User Accounts' feature is for setting up login accounts for each one of your employees. In ShopSite 11 and newer you can enable/manage this feature under the Utilities -> User Accounts menu.

ShopSite Pro (not ShopSite Manager or ShopSite Starter) also has the Roles function in the User Accounts feature, so when you add or edit a new employee account to can select from a list of backoffice functions to allow that user to have access to.

If you are talking about shopper accounts, this is called Customer Registration and you can enable that in the Commerce Setup -> Customer Registration -> Configure menu.

Ok, this is good news, because both features will be useful. Do registered customers have access to a profile or saved information?
You can see I have a "User Account" button in the top right: http://brotherscountrysupply.com/store/

Can this link be set up to go to a log in page, or a user page if they are already logged in?
