Add to cart button in search results

I am using the flex build template, and I am trying to add an 'add to cart' button to the products on the search results page but cannot figure out how to actually make it work. The link to the page the product is on appears ok but I either cannot get the cart button to appear or when I do it doesnt actually do anything.

Anyone any clue?

Some templates only display the link to the page a product is on and not the entire product info. You can change what template is used to display the search results on Preferences > Search Settings > Search layout and select the template in the Product Template Override: field and make sure the check box is checked. Note that the theme assigned template is designed to work with the search page look so changing the template may not look exactly like you expect.
