Order Anywhere Linker embeded template edit

Hello

I am trying out Shopsite Pro v11 Sp1 on Windows Server and want to employ the

Merchandising Tools > Order anywhere linker > embed code

I am adding an embeded product using em_basiclayout.sst template.

But the template is not using the correct order button. Where do I edit the template to insert the correct order.gif button, or where in Shopsite do I input the value so the em_basiclayout.sst will employ the correct order.gif button.

What product level of ShopSite do you have? Pro, Manager or Starter?

Pro stores will use the add to cart button assigned to the particular product on the Products > Edit Product Layout.
Manager and Starter stores will use the image/text configured on Preferences > Store Text > Store pages

I have Shopsite Pro

Shopsite > Products > Edit Product Layout > Button Customization

set to text. We are using html for the order.gif button

I have used the image select function to select a button but it does not change the iframe output or the embeded display on the page. Here is the output iframe code:

If you put the code on a page, you can see that the order button display is not working.

I guess that you mean you added a complete image url like "<img src="http://mydomain.com/11sp2/media/add_to_cart.gif">" in the text field for the add to cart buttton on the product?

If so, that will not work. The < > and " characters in the url will break the iframe resulting in odd results. You can either use plain text in the text field or an image selected in the image pulldown or the path to the image or the full url in the image field.

I understand.

I switched from the selected text with a complete image url to selected image.

Then I employed a complete url to the image, i.e.

http://www.mydomain/media/order.gif

and it worked for both the product page and the iframe on an order anywhere page.
