Adding a column to the shopping cart form

I do not know if I am missing something or what, but is there a way to add a product description column to the shopping cart, inbetween the Name and SKU columns?

Using ShopSite Pro 10 sp2 r 2.5

No, there is no way to add additional columns to the cart. I have seen a work around for this where designers will setup a custom template to use the variable name field in ShopSite. This makes it so that you can control what product name is added to the cart. Designers will populate the product name and the product description into the product name field when submitting to the cart. The issue with this is that your product description cannot include any HTML or it would cause issues submitting.
